How to Iron On Embroidered Patches:
Each patch has a heat seal backing ready for you to heat seal on your desired surfaces, works best on cotton fabrics. Do not apply to rain wear (waterproof), highly elastic, rayon, nylon or tri-acetate fabrics. Once applied, the patch is permanently attached to your fabric and is washable, dryable and dry cleanable. For machine washing, turn garment inside-out before washing and drying.
Step 1: Set your hand iron at the ‘cotton’ setting. DO NOT USE STEAM DURING APPLICATION!
Step 2: Place your embroidered patch in the desired position and place a pressing cloth (such as a handkerchief) over top.
Step 3: Press the iron straight down for 35-45 seconds with as much constant pressure as possible. NO BACK AND FORTH.
Step 4: Turn to the other side of the surface or turn the garment inside-out and repeat steps 2 & 3.
Step 5: Allow the embroidered patch to cool down.
[Story of MimiMay] Hello, this is a very special product in store. Then 82yo late grandma May who specialized in fish doodles was the artist behind the brand "MimiMay". Mimi had been a nickname given by grandma May's grandfather when she was born as she was very small like a kitten. Grandma May had been in the doodling journey from early 2017 until 2019. Each fish has its own story just by the look of the eyes and body shape. Grandma May's grand daughter, Cher (also the founder of Lurveau) has been working on using these unique and inspiring fish doodles for collaboration work. Cher also started her letter brushing journey early 2017 and she has successfully combined her self taught designing skill to digitalize the fish doodle and letter brushing quote and created this piece.
This iron on patch is one of a kind and very inspirational. We spent more than a month to collect ideas and design, another 1 month for production.
